Velké Meziříčí – Municipal Library

The Municipal Library in Velké Meziříčí has undergone an extensive renovation and extension, transforming the original building into a modern space for education, culture, and community gatherings. The project expanded the facilities for the individual library departments. A multifunctional hall with a theatre stage, a tiered lecture space, and a newly landscaped garden with a gazebo were added. The focus on functionality, accessibility, and the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces creates a welcoming environment for readers and the wider public. The architectural design by UYO architekti gives the library a new identity and a broader role in community life.
