Drahotuše – Sports Hall

The new sports hall of the Drahotuše Elementary School, designed by studio PAB, was completed in 2023 and offers a multi-purpose sports space with a usable area of 1,176 m². Its simple cubic form is complemented by a lower “base” that connects the building to the school and provides facilities as well as direct visual contact with the entrance street through a glazed façade. The project also addresses sustainability — the green roof collects rainwater, which is further used within the building. The hall received the Rudolf Eitelberger Award 2025 as an example of cultivated, community-oriented architecture.
